I really want to try to do a challenge for writing drabbles or fics. I hope I can do it. I got alreayd an idea for one. I post about pairings and such when I got approved for the claim.

I really need to go find the info on how to copy your LJ to another journal. I think I will have to copy it to my insane journal as well. Ok, I will put that on my to do list for the weekend. :D

Today I went to the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague. It's a fantastic museum. My parents were planning on coming too and so the three of us waited patiently in the queue to enter the building. Eager to see the paintings, sketches and ceramics made by Pablo Picasso.

It's a very unique exhibition, because normally an exhibtion of this size is not easy to build for a museum. You need a lot of space. It so happened that the Ludwig Museum in Cologne, one of the place to be for art made by Picasso, wanted to exhibit works of Piet Mondriaan. *grins* Now, the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague has a huge collection of Mondriaan. Therefore it was easy to make an art swap.

Yesterday I watched the news and they had an item about the artist Lucian Freud. They also said that an exhibition of some of his works can be found in the Gemeentemuseum. Nice! So killing two birds with one stone, so to speak. :D

Well, the main event for us was Picasso. Freud had to make do with a run through. :D Sorry, but we had reached our tax with reading exhibition texts and such. It just was too much.

Hi gang. I realised that, again, I have been neglecting to let you know about stuff.

Have been making icons, am reading a lot of fanfiction. I was reading in Magnificent 7 universe, but lately I find myself more and more redrawn into Stargate SG-1. As some of you may know, I have an interest in lots of fandoms I always get distracted by a single one. :) Or better yet, a single author sometimes. Anyway, onto the update.

My claim for 10variations has been accepted and so be prepared to get an icon post soonish.

I also got some icons I haven't posted yet, so these too will be posted soonish.

I have to start on my Secret Santa. I really need to do that. Haven't got a clue what it's going to be yet. So, that's ... interesting. *wink*

I am think of going Friends Only, but I haven't decided yet.

Going to Münster next Friday for the Weihnachtsmärkte or Christmas Markets. :) I am really thrilled to go. I hope I will spot a good present for my dad.

My mum is getting better, but her ankle is still being a pain in the Mikta.

Visited Museon yesterday. Really cool exhibition about a warrior's grave that has been found near The Hague. In Museon there also was a CSI exhibition, also really cool, and I went to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. So, all in all a very good day!

Ok, I never saw this video. I only listened to the song on CD or radio. Watch one of the band members and his earring. Is that even possible? Apart from that, you can also see the blinking and shiny glasses of the lead singer. Hmmmmm.... Made me think of Horatio's sunglasses. ;)

A little present for you

RL friends of me know that I tend to fall asleep during travel. Like in a car, plane, buss, train or something else that moves. My mum hates it when I fall asleep in the car, but I just can't help myself. Anyway, to satisfy my mum I tried several things that would keep me awake. Like reading a magazine with trivia facts. I love trivia facts. :) I also tried listening to music. That helped the best.

So, this year I decided to take my music - mp3 player - with me on vacation, because we needed to travel a lot in a buss in Morocco and normally I would not see much of the landscape. *grins* My mp3 player doesn't have a big memory, but enough to keep me happy for a while. Besides, I think it's good that it only has 128 MB memory because that means you have to clean up regularly. :)

Not sure whether you guys are interested but these are the songs that kept me going during my vacation. :) Some of these songs made think of Harry Potter fandom and some of them made me think of the Magnificent Seven fandom. I am sure you can guess which song made me think of which fandom. If not, I am willing to tell, but I would love to see you guys try. :)
